Regional USMLE Testing Updates

USMLE announced two additional regional test sites for Step 1 and Step 2 CK serving
select schools in California (n=5) and Texas (n=10). This increases the availability of testing
from 25 to 38 LCME schools. It also provides access to 2 Texas-based osteopathic schools,
leaving 78% (n=138) of LCME medical students and 100% of potentially eligible
international medical students behind.

Below are all USMLE Test Sites and Schools Served as of June 1, 2020:
1. Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Testing Begins May 27, 2020, and
allows students from:
  •  The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University (host school)

Per the announcement, "Students from these schools will be contacted by their medical
school Dean’s Office (Student Affairs). Students should wait to hear from their Deans before
taking any action to schedule or cancel a Prometric test center appointment. The
institutions’ Dean’s Offices, in collaboration with Prometric and the USMLE program, will
schedule eligible students for USMLE testing."
